Dolce Vita (Sweet Life) Project

Causative Solutions was excited to partner with the homeowner’s not only on a phased landscape plan but also on interior and exterior finishes, colours and lighting design. This multi-staged construction project started with the completion of the front yard. The vision for the front of the house was to create a sense of place, arrival, welcoming and warmth to family and friends not only during the day but at night as well. This new construction home is one of the first homes you see when you enter the development; a development that is surrounded by greenhouse and farmland located within a small southern Ontario town. Vision was achieved and what statement it makes during the day and night! Landscape lighting gives the home a soft glow at night and highlights some of its stunning features such as the stocco, brick veneer, accent boulders, landscape and warm grey concrete paving that leads you up to the front door. For this busy family we kept the planting design simple and low maintenance, allowing them more time for their veggie garden and family fun.

These homeowners are hands on when it comes to construction and have done some of the work themselves. It all starts with a plan! A plan that includes planning for the future like installing conduit under driveways and walkways for irrigation and lighting, all thought about well in advance making the next phase of work easy to complete.
